Mrs. Vaishali

Client Vaishali’s residence is designed as a modern minimal home that embodies sleek elegance with a warm and inviting character, using wood and neutrals as the core material palette. The interiors integrate light wood wall panels with dark wood furniture, creating a balanced play of tones that feels both contemporary and timeless. White floor tiles enhance brightness and openness across the home, while black slab tiles lend grounding contrast in the staircase and other key areas. Above the staircase, a skylight introduces natural daylight, ensuring the circulation core feels airy and connected to the outdoors. The stairs are refined with a glass railing topped with wooden trims, while even the railing holders adopt a wooden finish for consistency in detail. Arched wooden frames soften the minimal aesthetic, introducing subtle curves within the otherwise clean and linear design language. The home avoids excess ornamentation, instead focusing on textures, natural finishes, and proportion to elevate simplicity into elegance. Dark wooden furniture against a backdrop of white and textured walls ensures both warmth and sophistication. With controlled use of light, crafted joinery, and a balance of openness and coziness, this residence becomes a minimal yet comfortable retreat that reflects the modern lifestyle of its inhabitants.
